Robert Barnard

Robert Barnard ist 1936 in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, geboren. 1959 verließ er mit dem Abschluss B.A. das Balliol college, Oxford. Danach unterrichtete er Englisch an verschiedenen Universitäten in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia und Bergen, Norwegen. Von 1976 bis 1984 lebte er in Norwegen und unterrichtete Englisch an der Universität von Tromso. Er lebt jetzt in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.

Charlie Peace, ein junger schwarzer Scotland Yard Detective, ist ein Serienheld von Robert Barnard.

Ein weiterer Serienheld ist Perry Trethowan, ein Inspector von Scotland Yard.
